Our quarterly update following our pledge in 2020, addressing how we can tackle racism and diversity issues within the electronic music industry as a publication
In Q1 of 2022 DJ Mag and Sable Radio confirmed a second collaborative workshop which will take place in Q3 of 2022, focusing on long and short form music journalism.
Sable Radio is a Leeds based online radio station and creative platform who proactively work to create more opportunities for Black & POC communities within the music industry.

We will be announcing further Community Support activations and projects as they are confirmed in 2022.
For anyone that would like to discuss working with us re: community support initiatives please email [email protected].
Our Q4 2021 Diversity & Equality report was published across our digital channels in Jan 2022. We continue to meet on a regular basis to discuss D&I activity and activations as well as review the short- and long-term aims of our pledge.
Throughout 2022 we will continue to encourage our franchise partners to follow our lead in adopting D&I initiatives and invite them to engage with our continuing efforts. Our commitment to provide free print and digital advertising to causes that support Black and non-Black POC community projects currently sits  to the value of over £120,000. This commitment to free advertising is an ongoing part of the business, including our digital campaigns.
Our first event of 2022 was our Miami Music Week DJ Mag Pool Party, which took place on March 23rd. You can find the full lineup for this event via the link here.
Moving into Q2 2022 we will still be working with our headline artists and club/promoter partners to ensure all our events are consistently supporting Black, Black LGBTQ+ & non-Black POC artists.
We continue to use our streaming platforms to champion artists from a diverse range of backgrounds.
